How are you all this week? We're off for a short break to a well known holiday camp and I'll be sharing the experience on our return. The Husband is preparing himself for family fun and packing wine bottles into the back of the car.

Downing. It's a fabulous debut novel for young adults set in a post apocalyptic world with a feisty young female heroine searching for her lost father.

How are you all this week? It's Red Nose Day today so Caitlin and Ieuan have duly gone to school wearing their noses. I'm not sure I'll be sitting through tonight's telethon although I know a lot of people are excited about seeing the cast of the film Love Actually back together again.

The clocks go forward on Sunday (just in time for Mother's Day) so lighter evenings are on their way. Time to get out in the garden and hose down the garden furniture in time for a little early evening reading with a glass of wine.

How are you all this week? I've been doing a bit of spring cleaning and have realised I now have so many books I need another bookcase.

My Kindle is equally stuffed with great reads but I am very fond of a hard copy book.

It's been the usual week, Tae Kwon-Do, swimming and ballet for the kids and, um, nowhere near enough exercise for me!

Once the weather gets a bit warmer I might have to take drastic action and dust off my trainers!

Did you catch my review of review of Scars (Time of Myths: Shapeshifter Sagas) by Natasha S. Brown? If you like Tolkein and stories set in a fantasy world you'll love this one.

How are you all this week? Spring is here and we're surrounded by daffodils and purple crocuses. It's great now that the evenings are getting just that little bit lighter.

The kids are counting down the days to Easter (I have explained they've got a while!) and we've promised a trip to London if they behave.

It was great to have some focus on reading, rather than anything i-related this week.

How are you all this week? It's back to school in the wind and rain this week. Have you noticed how it always starts to rain around school run time?!

The kids really enjoyed St. David's Day and World Book Day and it was strange to send them off to school in their actual school uniform this morning!

How are you all this week? As half term draws to a close here in Wales we're gearing ourselves up for the return to school.

You know, that time when you discover your darling offspring have 'forgotten' to mention their homework or the fact that their shoes are pinching and they need you to blow at least £40 in your local school shoe shop.

We've not exactly done a lot, having been hit by a nasty tummy bug but it's been good to rest up a bit.

Don't forget World Book Day on March 2nd - time to start planning your kids' dress-up for the day (you might this post a useful resource), and of course it's St. David's Day on March 1st so Welsh Lady costumes and rugby shirts at the ready.

Amazing Free & Bargain Books With This Linky! Week 8 2017

How are you all this week? Many of you will be coming to the end of Half Term but here in Wales the fun starts week.

We've lots of ideas for getting out and about, we just need to drag the kids away from Roblox and Minecraft.

How times have changed!

How are you all this week? The heating's cranked up to max and we're waiting to see if the snow arrives here in Dinas Powys.

We were cheered up by Wales' rugby win against Italy last Saturday and all that cheering certainly keeps you warm.

It's unusual for Wales to have a win in the first match of the season though so everything is still crossed.
